Regional Power Systems Study Technical Authority – Senior Engineer

About the role

As the Regional Technical Authority for Power System Studies, you will be the go‑to expert for advanced studies across the Middle East and Africa. You will support sales and execution teams, ensure high‑quality delivery of complex studies, and help build a strong regional community of practice.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the regional reference for Power System Studies methodology, tools (especially ETAP), and technical topics.
• Support sales and execution teams in scoping, quoting, and delivering studies.
• Drive execution efficiency by leveraging regional and global expertise networks.
• Standardize pre‑sales and execution processes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Lead technical exchanges, training sessions, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives for the regional community.
• Identify and develop execution capabilities across the region.
• Validate complex quotations and provide technical support for challenging studies.
• Ensure the quality of all study reports delivered by regional teams.
• Serve as the bridge between regional teams and global expertise, managing escalations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in power system studies and engineering.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Required skills

• ETAP software proficiency.
