Regional Security Manager – Global Security

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a seasoned security professional to lead regional physical security across a diverse global footprint. As the Regional Security Manager, you will integrate security practices with business strategy, protecting patients, employees, and assets while fostering a resilient security culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day‑to‑day regional security operations.
• Develop and execute regional goals aligned with Global Physical Security initiatives.
• Design and implement security plans to address threats, vulnerabilities, and travel security needs.
• Deliver training programs to enhance employee preparedness and awareness.
• Conduct investigations into threats, incidents, and workplace‑violence cases.
• Monitor regional threats and disruptions, applying mitigation strategies.
• Provide guidance on security standards, practices, and programs supporting global initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex security issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
• Previous experience as a Security Manager with extensive leadership responsibilities.
• Deep expertise in operational, physical, travel, and crisis security management.
• Strong background in investigations, reporting, and incident management.
• Strategic and operational thinker with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven skills in conflict resolution, crisis response, and managing complex issues.
