Remote Physics Expert – Short‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified physics specialist to work remotely on a short‑term contract (3 months). You will design and solve challenging physics problems that are used to evaluate and improve large language models (LLMs).

Key responsibilities

• Design, solve, and document physics problems ranging from undergraduate to PhD level for AI evaluation.
• Create clear, step‑by‑step solutions with well‑articulated reasoning.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to develop evaluation tasks focused on model weaknesses.
• Help define new physics benchmark suites and contribute to benchmark documentation.
• Provide detailed annotations, feedback, and reasoning for AI evaluation workflows.

Required profile

• Master’s, PhD, or post‑doctoral degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience explaining complex physics concepts clearly.
• Ability to give constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Access to a reliable desktop/laptop and internet connection.
