Sales Manager – Food Ingredients (Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Syria)

About the role

Cargill is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the food ingredients business across Egypt, Libya, Lebanon and Syria. You will be responsible for a portfolio that includes cocoa ingredients, sweeteners, starches and other key products, serving large and complex customers in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the requirements of defined direct customers and distributors, ensuring commercial and payment‑collection responsibilities are met.
• Develop and execute account plans and business plans for each key customer.
• Coordinate internal resources to deliver value‑added services and maintain competitive positioning.
• Build strong client relationships that influence product, pricing and service strategies.
• Support the sales supervisor in identifying new market opportunities within the designated territory.
• Independently resolve complex issues, escalating only the most critical matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the food ingredients market, covering both commercial and business development activities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proven track record of measurable achievements in the food ingredients sector.
