Senior Internal Auditor – Internal Audit

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will perform independent audit assignments, assess internal controls, and help improve operational efficiency and risk management across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit assignments in accordance with the audit plan and internal audit standards.
• Perform detailed testing of financial, operational, and compliance controls.
• Identify control gaps, risks, and inefficiencies, and propose recommendations.
• Prepare working papers and ensure proper documentation of audit evidence.
• Draft audit findings and assist in preparing audit reports.
• Conduct follow‑up reviews on previously identified issues.
• Participate in risk assessment and contribute to audit planning activities.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support special reviews, investigations, and ad‑hoc assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in internal or external audit.
• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, or progress toward certification) is preferred.
• Experience in retail, manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar industry is an advantage.
