Senior Planning Manager

About the role

Glass Textile is seeking a Senior Planning Manager to lead end‑to‑end production planning for its textile manufacturing operations in Cairo. You will ensure on‑time delivery, optimal resource use, and alignment with customer requirements across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute capacity planning, line loading, and order allocation strategies.
• Monitor sales forecasts, confirm delivery timelines, and adjust plans as needed.
• Coordinate closely with sourcing, production, quality, and logistics teams.
• Analyze key performance indicators, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead, coach, and develop the planning team while standardising processes and tools.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership and key clients.

Required profile

• Strong background in production and capacity planning, preferably in textiles, apparel, or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field; master’s degree or certifications (APICS, CPIM) a plus.
• Experience in an export‑oriented or globally integrated manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Fluent English communication; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
