Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to manage supplier data, material planning and inventory control within its manufacturing operations. The role supports supplier integration, ensures optimal stock levels and contributes to continuous improvement of the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate supplier and article master data and support integration initiatives such as localization and consignment agreements.
• Monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) results, process supplier orders, track deliveries and escalate shortage risks.
• Ensure optimal raw material stock levels, proactively reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate ordering and timely delivery of new components for technical changes.
• Develop and maintain regular contact with suppliers, conduct performance reviews and foster strong relationships.
• Support stock‑take and cycle counting processes to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Identify and report supply chain risks and opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• 1–3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or material planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (formulas, data analysis, tracking tools).
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) logic and inventory control.
