Senior Services Engineer

About the role

The Senior Services Engineer ensures sustainable client success and lifecycle growth by delivering high‑quality project outcomes, technical support, and professional services. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to implement Application Performance Management (APM) solutions that meet functional requirements and drive standardization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
• Install, configure, customize, and upgrade APM applications according to design specifications.
• Update system architecture based on client needs while minimizing custom code and maximizing reuse of existing components.
• Apply full‑cycle quality management practices, including defect, test, and requirement management.
• Create work breakdown structures and provide effort estimates for technical activities.
• Gather and document business requirements by engaging stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Services Consultants, Product Development, commercial teams, customers, and partners to scope changes and follow change‑management processes.
• Participate throughout the project lifecycle, influencing design decisions to align with budget, timeline, and expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of client‑facing consulting experience with technical configuration, database work, or software implementations.
• Proven ability to work with iterative, waterfall, and agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.

Required skills

• .NET development and code customization.
• Microsoft Visual Studio / development tools.
• SQL and Oracle databases, including DDL, DML, and stored procedures.
• Basic database administration (backup and restore).
• Software analysis, design, methodology, and architecture.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative project methods.
