Senior Technical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Engineer to join our on‑site team in Alexandria. The role bridges design concepts and construction execution, ensuring that architectural drawings, specifications and documentation are accurate, code‑compliant and aligned with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Prepare, update and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and construction documents.
• Review shop drawings and construction drawings for compliance and feasibility.
• Coordinate technical requirements with suppliers and contractors.
• Conduct site visits to verify measurements, oversee installations and resolve on‑site issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and support quality‑control processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical standards, templates and workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in architectural fit‑out projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with designers, project managers and construction teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management and multitasking capabilities.
• Effective communication skills and experience in cross‑functional environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD drafting (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Technical drafting and detailed drawing production.
• Preparation and management of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Construction drawing review and specification management.
• Supplier coordination and technical documentation handling.
