SEO Team Leader

About the role

Dot IT is looking for a highly talented and strategic SEO Team Leader with 4+ years of experience to head its SEO department. You will lead a team of specialists, define the overarching search strategy and bridge technical execution with business growth. The role suits a data-driven leader who enjoys mentoring others and driving organic revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of SEO specialists, content writers and link builders, allocate resources, manage project timelines and ensure quarterly KPIs are met
• Define target keyword strategies, oversee content optimization and build SEO governance guidelines for content and development teams
• Design and oversee white-hat link-building strategies
• Work with web developers on technical SEO (site structure, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, schema markup) and with content marketing managers on keyword alignment with the brand's voice and editorial calendar
• Oversee competitor benchmarking and report on competitor techniques, gaps and market shifts
• Turn SEO data into business insights and present executive-level reports on ROI, traffic growth and progress toward business goals

Required profile

• 4+ years of proven SEO experience, including at least 1-2 years in a senior, supervisory or leadership role
• Proven track record of managing a team, conducting performance reviews and mentoring juniors
• Analytical mindset and strong communication skills, able to explain SEO value to business leaders

Required skills

• Advanced Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console
• Industry tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush and Screaming Frog
