About the role
The Shopping Experience Assistant works at the IKEA store in Cairo Festival City, providing friendly and efficient checkout service. You will handle cash, card and voucher transactions while ensuring a pleasant experience for every customer.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process payments (cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, automatic debits) following standard operating procedures.
- Accurately compute, record and balance all register transactions, including opening and closing floats.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and ensure adequate stock of printed stationery.
- Assist customers promptly to minimise queues and answer basic queries.
- Represent the IKEA brand by upholding store standards and delivering excellent service.
Required profile
- High school diploma; commerce or accounting background is a plus.
- 1‑3 years of experience handling till transactions.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and punctuality.
- Basic computer literacy.
