Site Quality Lead (Signaling & Communication)

About the role

We are looking for a Site Quality Lead (Signaling & Communication) to join Siemens Mobility’s high‑speed rail project in Egypt. The role will oversee quality control activities on‑site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily quality control in line with the Project Quality Plan and monitor quality targets.
• Plan and maintain required quality levels across the internal and external supply chain, focusing on specification compliance and interface management.
• Conduct project audits, assessments and reviews, and participate in status meetings.
• Manage non‑conformities, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and improvement actions.
• Oversee material inspection at warehouses and coordinate employer requirements.
• Verify installation of signaling (SIG) and communication (COM) systems on site.
• Ensure safety assurance evidence according to EN50126.
• Support continuous improvement activities throughout all project phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of project quality control experience in a global environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with quality tools: FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D, root‑cause analysis, Lean, process audits.
• ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor certification.
• Technical knowledge of rail solutions, especially rail signaling and GSM‑R.
• ASQ quality certificates (preferred).
