SME Finance & Lending Lead

About the role

The Head of SME Finance & Lending will lead the development and growth of BridgePay’s business financing portfolio. This senior position is responsible for the commercial success of lending products, covering customer acquisition, origination, portfolio expansion, and partnership management.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall growth strategy and commercial performance of BridgePay’s financing business.
• Set annual business plans, lending targets, and growth initiatives.
• Drive portfolio growth through existing DoPay customers and new client acquisition.
• Identify new financing opportunities, products, and customer segments.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financing origination targets and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Develop direct and indirect channels to acquire new borrowing businesses and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Partnerships teams.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end financing process from lead generation to disbursement.
• Monitor portfolio performance, utilization, repayment behavior, and customer retention while maintaining risk‑adjusted returns.
• Build and manage relationships with banks, financing companies, investment funds, and other funding partners.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and secure additional funding capacity.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to improve financing products, pricing, underwriting, and operational workflows.
• Work with Risk and Credit teams to balance portfolio growth with quality, reviewing performance metrics and health indicators.
