Software Product Owner (Mid Level)

About the role

As a Software Product Owner at Fixed Solutions you will shape the vision and strategy of software products, acting as the link between customers, business stakeholders and development teams. You will ensure that each product delivers measurable value and a seamless user experience while aligning with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a clear product roadmap that reflects business objectives, customer needs and market trends.
• Prioritise and manage the product backlog, translating requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with analysts, designers, developers and QA to deliver high‑quality releases.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming and sprint reviews.
• Gather and analyse user feedback, analytics and KPI data to validate features and guide continuous improvement.
• Coordinate product launch and adoption activities with marketing, customer success and implementation teams.
• Monitor competitor activity and market developments to identify opportunities for differentiation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role on IT software projects.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Proven ability to translate business and customer needs into actionable product requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
