Sound & Light Technician for Resort Entertainment

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Sound & Light Technician to join the entertainment team at Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury resort on the Red Sea. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality audio and visual experiences across the hotel’s venues, from daily lounge music to large‑scale evening productions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain audio, lighting, and visual equipment in theatres, beach areas, pools, lounges, and event spaces.
• Collaborate with the Entertainment Team to ensure seamless shows, themed nights, gala dinners, and special events.
• Conduct sound checks and lighting tests before each event to guarantee optimal performance.
• Provide technical support for DJs, live performers, and external entertainers.
• Adjust lighting effects and sound levels in real‑time based on show flow and audience response.
• Coordinate with animators, performers, and event hosts to ensure smooth execution.
• Follow safety standards and operational procedures when handling equipment.
• Respond to guest music or technical requests in line with resort policies.

Required profile

• Presentable, professional, and guest‑oriented personality.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
