Spare Parts Stock Controller – Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role

The Spare Parts Stock Controller will lead and execute comprehensive spare parts management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and availability. This role involves rigorous stock control, inventory analysis, and close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to support smooth logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching of spare parts with high accuracy.
• Conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) to track inventory, process orders, and generate reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers and maintain strong vendor relations for timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with internal departments and logistics partners to meet operational needs.
• Oversee warehouse operations and material handling while ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Analyze inventory trends to forecast demand, identify shortages, and optimize replenishment.
• Implement quality control measures for all incoming and outgoing parts.
• Identify and resolve inventory‑related issues and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in spare parts management or inventory control.
• Proven track record in a fast‑paced supply chain or warehouse environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent certifications).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision‑making.
• Commitment to quality control, attention to detail, and proactive problem‑solving.
