Technology Risk Consultant (Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager)

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager for its Technology Risk service in MENA, based in Cairo. The role supports the growth of the service and covers IT and cybersecurity projects across many industries, with a focus on listening to clients, asking the right questions and supporting them where there are no off-the-shelf solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver engagements with very minimal supervision, and ensure the quality of final reports delivered to clients
• Support executives in developing proposals, presentations and other business development activities
• Deliver engagements with a proven track record of success in Technology Risk

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in IT audit, information security or related fields
• Big 4 background or comparable consulting experience is highly advantageous
• Preferred certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor

Required skills

• Risk and governance frameworks: IT governance (COBIT, ITIL, NIST), ISO 27001, information security principles, policy development and risk assessment
• IT systems audit, including control weakness identification and clear communication of findings
• Internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), ITGCs, ITACs and SOX requirements
• Application systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics and operating systems and databases
• Business continuity planning (BCP/DRP), business impact analysis and plan testing
• Cybersecurity fundamentals and threat and vulnerability awareness
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, project management, leadership and client service skills
