Teller – Downtown

About the role

Geidea is seeking a diligent Teller to join its downtown branch. The role focuses on accurate cash handling, deposit processing, and coordination with cash‑in‑transit partners to support the company’s fintech operations.

Key responsibilities

• Charge Sales Representatives with virtual points for cash deposits.
• Count and verify deposited cash before hand‑over to the Cash‑in‑Transit (CIT) provider.
• Coordinate daily collection times with CIT representatives and ensure receipt of cash at the hub.
• Reconcile Sales Rep advances against daily cash deposits and bank statements.
• Prepare and send daily reconciliation reports, including hub and bank receipt copies.
• Report any cash shortages to the Teller supervisor and Finance team after verification.
• Perform hand‑over duties during supervisor absences.
• Manage monthly petty‑cash custody for the branch and report to Finance.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of cash‑handling or teller experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Functional knowledge of banking operations and business processes.
• Understanding of market and industry dynamics.
