Treasury Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Treasury Accountant to join our finance team in Cairo. The role supports daily treasury operations, ensuring accurate cash visibility, processing banking transactions and providing reliable treasury information for decision‑making and financial close.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily bank balances and cash positions, prepare short‑ and long‑term cash flow forecasts and support intercompany funding and cash transfers.
• Prepare and process local, foreign‑currency, payroll, tax, social and trade‑related payments, validating beneficiary details, bank charges and approval evidence.
• Perform timely bank reconciliations, investigate exceptions and post treasury‑related journal entries including foreign‑exchange differences.
• Maintain schedules for loans, interest, guarantees and debt repayments, and provide reconciliations and reports for month‑end and year‑end close.
• Follow payment matrix, segregation‑of‑duties and treasury procedures, support internal and external audits and flag liquidity risks or unusual banking activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury, banking operations or a similar finance role.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivots, look‑ups and cash‑flow schedules.
• Good written and verbal English; Arabic is advantageous for banking coordination.
