Accountant

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an Accountant to deliver high‑level technical and general accounting services in line with its Finance SOPs, US GAAP, and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements. The role supports accurate financial reporting and ensures compliance across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Produce profit and loss, income, and balance‑sheet statements.
• Maintain inter‑company accounting records and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Generate ad‑hoc internal reports and support external audit preparation.
• Ensure all accounting activities comply with regulatory standards and obtain necessary approvals.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend alternatives.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage receipts and disbursement reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least one year of accounting experience or equivalent education/training.
• Strong analytical, numeracy, and judgment skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
