Architect BIM Lead

About the role

The Architect BIM Lead will be based on‑site in Cairo, overseeing the implementation and management of BIM workflows across multiple projects. This full‑time position reports to senior management and works closely with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants to deliver high‑quality digital models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enforce BIM execution plans and model structures for each project.
• Lead multidisciplinary BIM teams, providing technical guidance, training and quality assurance.
• Coordinate model federation, clash detection and resolution across architectural, structural and MEP disciplines.
• Produce BIM‑based reports, visualisations and 3D/4D simulations for client review.
• Audit models for compliance with ISO 19650 and client‑specific standards.
• Continuously improve digital delivery processes and support virtual design workflows.

Required profile

• Strong background in Architecture or a related built‑environment discipline.
• Proven experience managing BIM coordination and multidisciplinary model integration.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and design intent accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field; advanced BIM certifications are a plus.
