About the role
As an Assistant Sales Manager at Nestlé, you will be the primary point of contact for all sales‑operations activities within the assigned territory. You will work closely with field sales teams, distributors and other partners to ensure the achievement of commercial targets.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the attainment of KPIs such as GPS, TTS, distribution, coverage, penetration and machine performance for the territory.
- Implement, monitor and update the sales plan for the area, setting clear objectives and leading negotiations with distributors and third‑party partners.
- Conduct daily performance monitoring of customers, tracking sales out, inventory levels, order timeliness and machine performance.
- Execute channel category plans at the point of contact and provide feedback to improve field sales and category plans.
- Deliver accurate demand forecasts, market dynamics reports and competitor activity updates.
- Ensure compliance with Nestlé policies, safety standards and local regulations.
- Coach, motivate and develop the distributor and Nestlé direct sales force.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in marketing or sales with a proven record of meeting KPIs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop people.
- Strong understanding of sales functions including CDT, customer and field sales.
- Experience managing a field sales team.
