Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and optimise multi‑cloud infrastructure for our modern web applications, SaaS platforms and enterprise systems. Based in Cairo, you will work closely with development teams to ensure reliable, secure and high‑performing cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and maintain cloud solutions across Vercel, Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, ARM templates and other IaC technologies.
• Containerise applications with Docker and support Kubernetes orchestration where required.
• Configure NGINX, reverse proxies, SSL certificates, caching and web‑server optimisation.
• Monitor performance, implement logging, uptime checks and incident response.
• Ensure high availability, backup, disaster‑recovery and cost‑optimisation strategies.
• Collaborate with developers using Git, Slack, Jira and Trello.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Vercel, Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Proven track record deploying modern web applications, SaaS solutions and backend services.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM policies, firewalls and WAF/NSG controls.
• Experience with monitoring tools and troubleshooting production incidents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
