Cluster Director of Finance

About the role

Mandarin Oriental is launching two luxury resorts in Upper Egypt – Luxor and Aswan – and seeks a senior finance leader to oversee financial operations across both properties. As Cluster Director of Finance you will provide strategic guidance, ensure robust controls, and support the pre‑opening and ongoing performance of the resorts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain financial controls, accounting procedures and reporting standards in line with MOHG policies, GAAP and local regulations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for both resorts, delivering timely and accurate information to hotel management and corporate teams.
• Support pre‑opening financial strategy, system implementation, and operational readiness for the new properties.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise financial systems and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with ownership, hotel management and corporate functions to safeguard assets and inform strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership within the hospitality or luxury resort sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of managing multi‑property financial operations.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, regulatory compliance and financial controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Experience with financial systems implementation and optimisation.
