DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform (Azure AKS)

About the role

Henkel is looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer to support the development and operation of its enterprise metadata platform, DataHub. You will work in a hands‑on engineering environment, building and maintaining scalable cloud‑native solutions that serve global data consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise Kubernetes‑based infrastructure on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Maintain cloud‑native platform operations for DataHub and related services.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Helm, Kustomize and Terraform (IaC).
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for multi‑environment deployments.
• Support Azure networking, identity, secrets management and operational configurations.
• Configure monitoring, observability, alerting and logging to improve reliability.
• Ensure platform security, compliance and identity management.
• Participate in performance testing, scalability and stability initiatives.
• Collaborate with global, cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience operating production Kubernetes environments.
• Proven ability to manage workloads, networking, storage and scaling.
• Hands‑on experience with Helm, Kustomize and Terraform.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure, especially AKS.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and multi‑environment workflows.
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, shell scripting and container debugging.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
