Linux System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Linux System Administrator to ensure the reliability and performance of Axis’s infrastructure. You will monitor, configure and maintain both physical and virtual environments that support our mobile wallet and digital banking services.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and administer monitoring and alerting systems for 24/7 health reporting.
• Install, configure and maintain operating systems on servers and physical hosts.
• Manage virtual environments using VMware ESXi and Nutanix.
• Update and verify security appliances, applications and patches.
• Administer network time (NTP) services and logging systems.
• Implement and manage SIEM solutions, perform event and security analysis.
• Coordinate technical support and vendor renewals.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery policies and perform regular health checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux distributions, installation, configuration and management.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi and Nutanix.
