Mobile Engineer – Flutter

About the role

Axis is building a fully interoperable mobile wallet for Egypt and expanding into investment and wealth services. We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to develop and maintain user‑facing features of the Axis Wallet consumer app using Flutter.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain user‑facing features for the Axis Wallet app.
• Implement UI screens from design specifications with pixel‑accurate precision.
• Write clean, testable code following the BLoC pattern and clean architecture.
• Develop unit and widget tests for all delivered features.
• Handle API integrations, error mapping, and state management.
• Use AI development tools responsibly while maintaining ownership of the code.
• Continuously learn FinTech domain and security fundamentals.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of professional experience with Flutter/Dart, including at least one year on a production app.
• Solid understanding of the BLoC pattern and clean architecture principles.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling authentication flows.
• Proficiency with Git workflows and pull‑request reviews.
• Hands‑on experience writing unit and widget tests.
• Comfortable using AI development tools while maintaining code ownership.
