Accounts Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and commercially aware Accounts Finance Manager to lead our finance function in Egypt. The role will oversee day‑to‑day accounting, treasury and reporting, ensure compliance with local regulations and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting, finance, treasury and reporting activities.
• Prepare monthly MIS, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reports.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations and month‑end/year‑end closing in SAP.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, payroll and inventory accounting controls.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws, VAT, withholding tax, labor/social insurance regulations and statutory filings.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks and government authorities.
• Develop internal controls, SOPs and process improvements.
• Support automation initiatives and data‑driven decision making using Excel dashboards and reports.
• Train and guide finance team members.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate qualification in Finance, Accounting or Commerce (CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA or MBA Finance preferred).
• 6–8 years of progressive finance experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP (FI/CO/MM preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, Power Query and dashboards.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical reasoning.
• Good understanding of Egyptian accounting standards, tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
