Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Azur Hospitality in Damietta. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the Food and Beverage Manager in delivering high‑quality restaurant and bar services while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise service teams during shifts, monitoring food and beverage presentation and compliance with hygiene, safety and quality standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling, on‑the‑job training, performance follow‑up and motivation of team members.
• Help manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to support cost‑control initiatives.
• Collaborate with culinary and front‑of‑house teams to plan and execute promotions, events and special menus.
• Support budgeting activities, cost analysis and revenue optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food service operations, menu concepts, service standards and hygiene practices.
• Excellent customer service abilities, with a track record of handling guest feedback and resolving issues promptly.
• Good organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail skills, especially during busy periods.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Working proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
