Assistant/Associate Professor for Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering

About the role

The department seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor to teach and develop courses in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. The successful candidate will join a modern research and training laboratory and contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver core and major undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering.
• Teach advanced and elective postgraduate courses.
• Supervise student projects and theses.
• Maintain and develop laboratory facilities.
• Conduct independent and applied research, preferably with industry collaboration.
• Innovate pedagogical methods and help manage the study programme.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant industrial experience.
• Proven record of collaborative research and successful supervision.
• Excellent teaching ability at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
