Business and Economics Teacher

About the role

Dr. Nermien Ismail Schools is seeking a full‑time Business and Economics Teacher to join its Cairo campus. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons to middle and/or high‑school students, fostering a student‑centered and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Business and Economics lessons aligned with the school curriculum and standards.
• Design lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess student progress, record grades, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, attend department and staff meetings, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Support student projects, guide research and critical‑thinking activities, and participate in school events and professional development.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of Business and Economics concepts suitable for middle and/or high‑school teaching.
• Strong classroom management, lesson planning and instructional design abilities.
• Effective communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess learning, use data to inform instruction and give timely feedback.
• Proficiency in English as the language of instruction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education or related field; teaching certification or license preferred.
• Relevant teaching experience, ideally in an international or similar school environment.
• Commitment to inclusive, student‑centered learning and ongoing professional development.
