About the role
The Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza is seeking a full‑time Communications Agent to be the primary point of contact for guests and staff. The role involves managing the telephone switchboard, handling telex and fax communications, and providing accurate information about hotel services, operating hours, and key personnel.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming calls using the hotel telephone switchboard.
- Operate telex and facsimile machines for internal and external communications.
- Provide callers with general information on hotel services, daily activities, special functions, and personnel.
- Follow proper payroll procedures and assist with related inquiries.
- Maintain and update the hotel computer system with relevant guest and operational data.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless information flow.
Required profile
- Well‑mannered, visionary, and passionate about hospitality.
- Deep understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards.
- Ability to follow payroll procedures accurately.
- Strong communication skills and a professional telephone etiquette.
