Finance Manager – Infrastructure & Utilities

About the role

Hassan Allam Utilities is seeking a Finance Manager to lead finance operations for one of its assets in Egypt. The role involves overseeing accounting, reporting, compliance and stakeholder coordination within a dynamic infrastructure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily finance and accounting operations in line with IFRS and Group policies.
• Review and approve financial records, entries, reconciliations, payments and bank transfers.
• Prepare monthly trial balances, financial statements and Group reporting packages.
• Oversee internal compliance, internal audit activities and adherence to group requirements.
• Develop and monitor internal KPIs for financial and operational performance.
• Ensure tax compliance with Egyptian laws and regulations.
• Control capex and opex spending against approved budgets.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Track loan facilities, utilization, repayments and related reconciliations.
• Coordinate with banks, treasury, Group Finance, budgeting and operations teams.
• Maintain and enhance chart of accounts, cost and profit centers.
• Support budget preparation, variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Review contracts from a financial perspective.
• Supervise inventory‑related financial reporting.
• Manage ERP finance activities, act as key user and identify system gaps.
• Establish and improve finance processes, internal controls and reporting workflows.
• Guide and assign tasks to the finance/accounting team to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 8–12 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in operational companies.
• Background in construction or logistics is desirable.
• Professional proficiency in English.
