Foreign Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Foreign Purchasing Coordinator to manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for our furniture and home‑goods portfolio. The role involves working closely with overseas suppliers, the sales team and internal logistics to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery of products.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and issue purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Evaluate bids, contracts and vendor agreements, ensuring accuracy and competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with the sales department to understand customer needs and preferences.
• Monitor purchase orders, maintain relationships with suppliers, planners and the sourcing team.
• Negotiate delivery terms, reduce inventory levels and manage order delivery schedules.
• Track supplier performance, resolve issues related to incorrect orders, invoices or shipments.
• Calculate international freight charges and assess economic feasibility of purchases.
• Prepare payment requests, manage bank documents (commercial invoice, packing list, B/L) and coordinate with finance.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian government regulations (GOEIC) and procurement ethics.
• Oversee stock supply, handle repair and claim cycles, and supervise transport damage and returns.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in international purchasing, sales or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting and supplier evaluation.
• Strong negotiation, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with procurement regulations and ethical standards.
• Preferred residence in Nasr City, Masr El Gadeda or New Cairo.
• Prior experience in the furniture or home‑goods industry is a plus.
