General Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a General Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves managing the full cycle of invoicing, bookkeeping, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with Egyptian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Create and issue invoices accurately using the company system.
• Record, settle and reconcile invoices, cash and bank transactions.
• Prepare and manage E‑Invoices through the Egyptian Tax Authority portal.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, and produce daily and monthly financial reports.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for all accounting records.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and support other finance‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
• Familiarity with Egyptian tax regulations and e‑invoicing is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting/ERP systems (Zoho is a plus).
• Ability to create and manage E‑Invoices via the Egyptian Tax Authority portal.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
