Information Technology Specialist

About the role

Americana Restaurants is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to support its extensive network of restaurant brands across the MENA region. The role focuses on maintaining stable IT systems, updating POS pricing, and providing timely technical assistance to ensure smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement POS price changes and verify accuracy.
• Provide L1/L2 support for systems, software, and hardware.
• Handle ServiceNow tickets and follow up on requests.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve issues.
• Maintain the lab and testing environment.
• Install required files and software in stores.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems.
• Manage hardware and software staging and deployment.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the RT Manager or Team Leader.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience as an IT Associate or in a similar role.
• Experience in restaurant or hospitality IT is preferred.
• Experience working within a franchise model is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of POS systems and operational technologies.
• Proficiency with the ServiceNow ticketing platform.
• Ability to stage and deploy hardware and software.
• Experience installing and configuring software in store environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for hardware and software issues.
• Vendor management for IT services.
