KS1 Primary Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a KS1 Primary Teacher to deliver the English National Curriculum to children aged 5‑7. You will join a British‑style institution that values academic excellence and holistic development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach across the KS1 curriculum, covering all core subjects.
• Plan engaging lessons that challenge pupils and foster curiosity.
• Use effective questioning and Assessment for Learning techniques.
• Write schemes of work, mark and monitor student work, and set clear progress targets.
• Assess and record pupil progress systematically and produce informative parent reports.
• Maintain regular communication with colleagues and parents.
• Participate in up to two extra‑curricular activities each week.
• Contribute to whole‑school planning and curriculum development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); newly qualified teachers are welcome.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 or delivering the English National Curriculum is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to create a stimulating classroom environment.
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Resilient, adaptable, flexible and committed to continuous professional development.
