Mechanical Estimation Engineer - Fluent English

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our team in Cairo. You will prepare accurate cost estimates and detailed takeoffs for HVAC (duct & piping) and plumbing systems, supporting tendering and pre‑construction activities for a leading mechanical contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC duct, pipe, and plumbing systems, including accessories.
• Prepare precise cost estimates using company‑provided estimation software.
• Analyze mechanical drawings and project specifications to ensure correct material selection and system components.
• Utilize advanced Excel formulas for calculations, reporting, and data analysis.
• Support tendering processes and pre‑construction coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in mechanical estimation for HVAC and plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems and ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Fluent English communication skills.
