Procurement Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking a Procurement Manager based in Cairo to lead procurement activities and drive sourcing excellence across the organisation. The role focuses on developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely, cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Ensure timely and cost‑effective procurement of goods and services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support operational requirements.
• Identify sourcing opportunities and drive cost optimisation.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance.

Required profile

• Proven FMCG procurement experience.
• Experience managing procurement activities within the Egypt market.
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiations.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cost optimisation and procurement efficiencies.
• Commercial acumen, analytical skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Currently based in Egypt or willing to relocate without visa sponsorship.
