Program Manager

About the role

The Program Manager will lead the design, pilot, and scale‑up of a new Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) program in Egypt. This role builds the program from the ground up, aligning it with Coptic Orphans' strategy and ensuring every primary‑level child achieves functional literacy and numeracy.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design and launch of the pilot, converting the concept note into an operational plan with milestones and accountability.
• Integrate complementary child‑focused interventions such as nutrition, child protection, personal development, and volunteerism.
• Develop SOPs, tools, and workflows to create a scalable playbook.
• Manage relationships and work plans with implementation partners, overseeing facilitator training, mentoring, M&E tools, and curriculum support.
• Oversee daily field implementation, coordinate across regions, and adjust plans based on field challenges and beneficiary needs.
• Build scalable processes and systems for future expansion.
• Prepare high‑quality progress updates and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Execute program assessments using standardized TaRL tools, track KPIs, and lead learning reviews after each pilot cohort.

Required profile

• Hands‑on leader with strong strategic thinking and operational execution skills.
• Experience managing multi‑stakeholder programs in education or child development.
• Proven ability to design pilots, develop SOPs, and scale interventions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
