Restaurant Hostess – Egypt (Egyptian Only)

About the role

The Restaurant Hostess will welcome guests, manage reservations and ensure a smooth dining experience at our Safaga outlet. The role requires a courteous, professional attitude and strict adherence to hotel standards and Kempinski values.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Assistant or Restaurant Manager and arrive punctually in full uniform.
• Greet guests, handle inquiries, and manage the reservation book and guest history.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow opening and closing procedures.
• Promote menu items, upsell, and provide detailed product knowledge.
• Operate the POS system, monitor supplies, and help reduce waste.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and report them to supervisors.
• Assist with inventory counts and menu printing.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in an international luxury five‑star hotel.
• Egyptian nationality.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
