Rolling Stock Technician – Light Maintenance

About the role

The Rolling Stock Technician ensures that trains are ready for operation on time, following technical references and safety standards. You will troubleshoot faulty trains and depot equipment, support the maintenance team, and act as a technical reference.

Key responsibilities

• Validate reports, record failures and analyse incident history.
• Diagnose faults precisely and carry out troubleshooting actions and validations.
• Perform tests, verifications and cyclical checks, reporting results with full traceability.
• Maintain tools and spare parts, organise workspace logistics and manage completion times.
• Control work quality, ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures and contribute to traceability.
• Transfer knowledge, train newcomers and interns, and manage potential conflict situations.

Required profile

• Private diploma in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance environment; railway experience is a plus.
• Fluent Arabic (speaking, reading); English is a plus.
• Team‑player with strong communication skills and proactive attitude.
