Senior Interior Designer – Luxury Hospitality & Cruise Projects

About the role

Omar Farid Design Studio is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead luxury interior projects from concept through construction documentation. Based in Cairo, the role focuses on high‑end hospitality, Nile cruise, and premium residential interiors, ensuring designs are both visionary and buildable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept designs, mood boards, space plans and full design narratives for luxury projects.
• Produce detailed design drawings, finishes schedules and construction documentation.
• Select and specify high‑end materials, finishes, bespoke joinery and FF&E.
• Collaborate with architects, FF&E specialists and project managers throughout project delivery.
• Present design concepts to clients, incorporate feedback while protecting design integrity.
• Mentor junior designers and review their output.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of interior design experience with a focus on luxury‑level projects (5‑star hospitality, high‑end residential, premium F&B, yacht or cruise interiors).
• Strong portfolio of completed luxury work.
• Degree in interior design or architecture.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp or 3ds Max.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
• Knowledge of Revit (a plus).
• Deep material and finishes knowledge at the luxury tier.
