Senior Logistics Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Logistics Officer to lead the end‑to‑end logistics cycle, ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods across international routes. The role combines strategic planning, coordination with freight forwarders, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor the complete logistics cycle for timely, cost‑effective delivery.
• Optimize air, ocean and land shipments, selecting the most economical mode based on cost and time constraints.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics service providers to meet business requirements and resolve service failures.
• Identify and mitigate constraints, including handling of hazardous cargo and compliance with local and international transportation regulations.
• Conduct data analysis to drive continuous improvement, enhancing efficiency and achieving cost savings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (Master’s/MBA a plus).
• 1‑5 years of proven logistics and supply chain experience.
• Experience with SAP and 3PL logistics planning preferred.
• Familiarity with international trade legislation, customs processes and hazardous cargo transportation.
• Relevant certifications such as CISCP or CSFFP are beneficial.
