Senior Manager – Risk Consulting, Financial Crime & Compliance

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Financial Services Risk Management practice in Cairo. You will work with leading banks, insurers and asset managers, helping them navigate complex regulatory landscapes and strengthen their financial crime and compliance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic sourcing services for regulatory compliance, Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), corporate governance, enterprise risk management, internal controls and internal audit.
• Assist client organisations in maintaining effective controls to manage strategic and operational risks.
• Deliver advisory services on FCC target operating models, business processes and internal controls that meet regulatory requirements while preserving customer experience.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on financial crime and compliance matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposal development and presentations.
• Lead and manage complex engagements related to regulatory compliance and financial crime.

Required profile

• Proven experience within a Big‑Four professional services firm, preferably in risk consulting or financial crime compliance.
• Strong technical expertise and business insight in financial services risk management.
• Excellent understanding of economic and market issues and ability to interpret their impact on clients.
• Demonstrated commercial judgment and ability to develop pipelines and win new business.
