Senior Site Engineer

About the role

The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing daily site operations on construction projects, ensuring that work is carried out according to approved designs, client specifications, and safety standards. This role leads site teams, coordinates with planning and procurement, and maintains accurate documentation while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all on‑site activities, supervising foremen, technicians and subcontractors.
• Organise material deliveries and enforce site safety procedures.
• Validate incoming project designs with planning teams to confirm technical feasibility.
• Ensure implementation aligns with client requirements and design specifications.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance and report findings to planning and procurement.
• Control day‑to‑day project deliverables, expenses and resource allocation.
• Maintain clear documentation of operational procedures and activities.
• Oversee petty‑cash handling and settlement with the finance department.
• Coach and mentor junior site engineers.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in site engineering or a similar construction role.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Proven experience with landscape and swimming‑pool projects.
