SME Business Center Head

About the role

The SME Business Center Head will lead a dedicated team of SME officers at Tasaheel, one of Egypt’s leading SME financial institutions. You will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of small and medium‑size enterprise clients, ensuring their financial needs are met through deposits, transactions, trade finance and lending solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and mentor a team of SME officers to achieve defined business targets.
• Set clear performance objectives and monitor achievement.
• Provide training, coaching and guidance to improve team productivity.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of SME customers while maintaining high client satisfaction and retention.
• Build strong relationships with decision‑makers in client organisations.
• Handle escalated client issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Identify and execute cross‑selling and upselling opportunities across Tasaheel’s product suite.
• Drive client acquisition strategies to expand the SME portfolio.
• Ensure team compliance with service standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to deliver seamless customer service.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking with a focus on SME banking.
• Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
• Successful completion of a mandatory credit course.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Demonstrated success in portfolio growth and client relationship management.
• Ability to motivate a team toward ambitious targets.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
