Social Media Manager – Remote (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a performance‑driven Social Media Manager to own the end‑to‑end social media process at Science Pitchers. Working remotely, you will turn strategic ideas into high‑quality content that builds authority, drives engagement and fuels growth for our global science communication platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute structured content calendars across multiple social platforms.
• Create, edit and publish platform‑specific posts, visuals and short‑form videos.
• Use AI‑based prompt engineering to generate high‑performing copy.
• Design clean visuals with Canva and edit videos using tools such as Premiere, After Effects or CapCut.
• Monitor analytics, track engagement, reach and follower growth, and continuously optimise content based on data.
• Collaborate with the creative team to maintain brand tone and consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media management with a strong focus on results.
• Excellent content writing abilities and familiarity with AI tools.
• Ability to work independently, stay consistent and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Canva design.
• AI tools and basic prompt engineering.
• Video editing (Premiere, After Effects, CapCut – basic to intermediate).
• Social media analytics and performance tracking.
