Station Manager – Power Plant O&M

About the role

The O&M Station Manager is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of a combined‑cycle gas turbine power plant. This senior position ensures compliance with laws, contractual obligations, and load‑dispatch requirements while driving business success and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute all activities under the Operation and Maintenance contract.
• Organise resources and prioritise tasks to guarantee safe, reliable plant operation in line with local regulations and contractual terms.
• Lead all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) matters and oversee environmental compliance.
• Manage relationships with the customer and other stakeholders to achieve shared business goals.
• Monitor project financials, analyse cost structures and identify improvement opportunities.
• Motivate, guide and develop a high‑performing O&M team.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in power‑plant service or operation.
• Proven project‑management expertise in complex, leading‑role assignments.
• Strong personnel‑management and leadership experience.
• Excellent client‑facing and internal communication abilities.
