Supply Chain Specialist – Materials Planning & Optimization

About the role

The Supply Chain Specialist will ensure uninterrupted material supply by proactively planning, anticipating risks, and quickly resolving shortages. You will manage complex material flows, support sourcing and technical teams, and drive cost and inventory optimization across Commercial, IC&D, and Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans aligned with demand forecasts.
• Lead rapid resolution of raw‑material shortages in coordination with planning, procurement, and suppliers.
• Optimize inventory levels, reducing slow‑moving and obsolete stock (SLOB).
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance supply‑chain performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Commercial, Technical, and Operations teams.

Required profile

• Experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Logistics.
• Strong analytical ability to manage complex material flows.
• Proactive risk‑anticipation mindset and solution‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across functions.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of S&OP processes.
• Familiarity with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tools.
